Color coded casing allows immediate identification of catheter size. • Robust casing maximizes protection of catheter during transportation. • Translucent catheter hub and chamber allows for easy visualization of blood flash back. • Radio-opaque catheter. • Precision finished PTFE catheter allows for a smooth insertion and minimizes the risk of catheter peel-back and kinking. • Hydrophobic membrane filter to prevent blood leakage during insertion. • Filter cap can be removed to allow connection with a syringe to assist insertion. • The catheter may be plugged temporarily by removing the hydrophobic filter cap and placing it in the Luer Lock hub.
